Description
This battery is a compatible part designed for the Redmi A2. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or no longer allows you to use the phone for long. It supplies the energy needed for the device to operate.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, dry surface, with tools suited to opening the casing without forcing it. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery before handling the nearby ribbon cables, and handle the connectors with care.
Once the battery is installed, run a few full charge and discharge cycles so the device properly recognises the new part. Monitor the temperature while charging: moderate warmth is normal, significant heat is not. Never puncture the battery, do not bend it, and stop using a swollen battery; set it aside in a safe place.
