Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Redmi K20. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or shuts down suddenly despite a displayed level that seems sufficient. A worn battery can also cause the phone to overheat abnormally while charging.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface, with suitable tools and without forcing anything. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid any contact with the electronic components. An electrostatic discharge can be enough to damage a board, so it is wise to ground yourself regularly.
After replacement, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the battery balances properly. Then check that charging, the display and temperature management work correctly. Never puncture the battery, do not bend it, and stop using a swollen or damaged battery: set it aside and handle it with care.
