Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of a Redmi K50. It powers the phone continuously: over time, a worn battery lasts less long, gets hotter or can cause sudden shutdowns. Replacing it restores decent battery life and more stable operation of the device.
Before you start, switch off the smartphone completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Remove the battery gently, without piercing, bending or forcing it, and disconnect it before any work on the ribbon cables.
After fitting, check that the battery is securely fixed and that the connectors are properly clicked into place. Carry out a few full charge cycles to let the battery balance itself, and monitor the temperature while charging. If the battery swells, heats up abnormally or gives off a smell, stop using it immediately.
