Description

Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, clear surface, using a flat plastic tool to open the device without forcing it. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid any contact with electronic components. Electrostatic discharge can be enough to damage a board, so touch an earthed metal surface before handling the parts.
Once the battery is installed and the device closed, switch it back on and let it complete several full charge and discharge cycles before judging its battery life. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and do not expose it to significant heat. If the battery swells or overheats abnormally, stop using it.
