Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Redmi Note 13R. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds a charge, shuts off suddenly or drains too quickly. A worn battery can also cause unexpected restarts or make the phone heat up during use. This is a part made by a third party, identified as compatible with this model.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface, using a plastic tool to open the casing and avoid short circuits. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Do not puncture the battery, bend it or heat it.
After replacement, charge the battery fully, then carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles to help it stabilise. Monitor the temperature during the first charges. If the battery swells, gives off a smell or becomes hot, stop using it immediately.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and unplug the charger before working on it
- Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables
- Do not puncture, bend or heat the battery
- Swollen battery: stop using it and set it aside
- Carry out a few full charge cycles after fitting
