Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Redmi Note 14S. It replaces the current battery when the phone's battery life drops, the device shuts off suddenly or it overheats abnormally while charging. It powers the whole device, so please check that the reference matches your model before buying.
Before fitting, switch the smartphone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface, using a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Disconnect the battery before touching the flex cables, and avoid static electricity by keeping in contact with an earthed metal surface. Do not puncture, bend or crush the battery.
Once the part is installed, switch the device back on and check its general operation: display, charging and heat behaviour. For a new battery, a few full charge and discharge cycles help stabilise battery life. If the battery swells, becomes very hot or the device behaves abnormally, stop using it immediately.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and unplug the charger before any work
- Disconnect the battery before handling the flex cables
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Swollen battery: do not use, isolate it in a safe place
- Carry out a few full charge cycles after fitting
