Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. It supplies the energy the phone needs to operate. When the current part no longer holds a charge, no longer charges properly or causes sudden shutdowns, replacing it restores battery life that is usable day to day.
Before you begin, switch the smartphone off completely and place it on a clean, flat surface. Prepare a small suitable screwdriver and a suction cup to lift the screen without forcing it. Work in a temperate room, protected from static electricity, and note where the screws go to make reassembly easier.
The battery is a lithium part: do not puncture it, bend it or heat it. If it is swollen, stop using it. Be sure to disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. After assembly, carry out several full charge and discharge cycles so the indicator can stabilise.
