This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of a Redmi Note 8. It powers the phone and restores sufficient battery life when the old battery no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or shuts off suddenly while a charge level is still displayed.
This part is made by a third-party manufacturer, which makes it an economical solution to repair your device. Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely, prepare a small screwdriver suited to the screws and a flat tool for opening, and work on a clean, well-lit surface. Keep the screws in a small container so you don't lose them.
Lithium batteries require care. Do not puncture, bend or force the battery. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface, and do not expose the part to significant heat. If the battery is swollen, stop using it. After fitting, carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles to let the battery stabilise and check that charging works correctly.
