Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro whose battery life has dropped or which no longer holds a charge. It powers the phone and lets you get back to everyday use, with a device that restarts and charges properly after fitting. If the current battery is swollen, overheats or switches off suddenly, it should be replaced without delay.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small flat tool and suitable suction cups. Work on a clean, well-lit surface and keep the screws in a small container so they don't get lost. Never puncture, bend or crush a lithium battery, and do not use it if it is swollen. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface.
Once the part is fitted, switch the device back on and check that charging works normally. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the system can adjust the battery level display. Stay alert to heat during the first uses and monitor battery life over a few days.
