Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Reno2 (2019) when it no longer holds charge, drains too quickly or no longer powers on the device. It supplies power to the phone and must be fitted following the model stated on the product sheet.
Before replacing it, switch off the smartphone completely and unplug the charger. Prepare a small screwdriver suited to the task, a flat tool for separating the components and a clean work surface. Work on a stable surface at room temperature and avoid any heat source. Also remember to discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
Once the battery is in place, reconnect the screen and check that the device starts up correctly. It is advisable to carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the new battery can balance itself. Monitor the temperature while charging. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent, and a swollen or deformed battery must no longer be used.
