Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of the Risio 3 (2018). It powers the device and can help restore satisfactory battery life when the old battery drains too quickly, no longer holds its charge or shuts down suddenly. It is intended for private individuals who wish to repair their device themselves.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, dry surface with suitable tools, and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Never puncture, bend or crush a lithium battery. If it is swollen or deformed, do not use it any more.
After replacement, switch the device back on and check that charging starts correctly. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to stabilise the battery life indicator. Keep heat moderate while charging and avoid leaving the device in the sun or near a heat source.
