Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery in your Google Pixel Fold. It powers the device and directly determines its battery life: as it ages, the phone shuts down faster, heats up more or charges with difficulty. Replacing it is a common repair to restore usable life to a foldable device.
Before you start, switch the Pixel Fold off completely and place it on a clean, flat surface. Work with a suitable tool, without forcing the connectors or ribbon cables, and protect yourself from static electricity by avoiding synthetic carpets. Disconnect the battery before handling the neighbouring ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
After fitting, charge the device and check that charging works normally. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that the battery-life indicator stabilises. If the battery swells or overheats abnormally, stop using it immediately.
