Description
This compatible battery replaces the current battery in your Apple Watch Series 9 (45 mm) smartwatch. It powers the device and ensures its everyday battery life: the display, health sensors, notifications and activity tracking all depend on it. When battery life drops sharply, the watch switches off without warning or takes a long time to charge, replacing the battery is often the solution.
Before you start, switch the watch off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use suitable tools and avoid metal tweezers that could damage the connectors. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Never drill, bend or crush a lithium battery. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
After fitting, charge the watch slowly and check the stability of the device as well as the accuracy of the touchscreen. Carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery settle in, then check the real battery life. Monitor the temperature while charging: moderate warmth is normal, excessive heat is not.
