Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of a Stylo 3 Plus. It powers the device and determines how long it can be used between two charges. When a battery ages, you often notice battery life dropping quickly, a phone that switches off without warning while still showing charge, or a charge that takes unusually long. Replacing this component is an affordable way to get a device back into everyday use.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools and a well-lit space. Avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend the battery.
Once the fitting is complete, carry out two or three full charge and discharge cycles so the device properly recognises the new battery. Keep an eye on heat during charging: it should remain moderate. If the battery appears swollen, stop using it and store it safely away from anything flammable.
