Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Stylo. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or switches the device off suddenly. A worn-out battery is a frequent fault on older devices, and replacing it often restores a decent battery life without changing your phone.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and prepare a small screwdriver of the right size and a clean tray for the screws. Work on a flat surface in a temperate room, and avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never bend or puncture the battery.
Once assembly is complete, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the battery can calibrate. Monitor the temperature during the first charge: it should remain moderate. If the battery appears swollen, do not use it under any circumstances and set it aside in a safe place.
