Description
This compatible battery is designed to replace the current battery in your Microsoft Surface 3 (2015) when it no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or drains too quickly. It powers the tablet when no mains socket is available and stores the energy needed for mobile use.
This part is manufactured by a third party and offered as a compatible version. Before buying, check that your model really is the 2015 Surface 3, as exact reference numbers are not listed here. For a successful replacement, switch the tablet off completely, then disconnect the power supply. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools, and avoid electrostatic discharge by regularly touching an earthed metal part.
Once the battery is fitted, reconnect the tablet to the mains and carry out at least two or three full charge and discharge cycles so the battery can calibrate. Monitor the temperature while charging and check the battery life after a few days of normal use.
