Description
This compatible battery is designed for the 15-inch Surface Book 3. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds its charge or no longer provides enough battery life. It powers the computer when it is not plugged into mains power and keeps everyday use running smoothly.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and unplug the power adapter. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools, and avoid electrostatic discharge, for example by touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery before handling any internal ribbon cables, then follow the removal and refitting steps carefully.
After fitting, reconnect the device and let the battery charge fully. A few full charge and discharge cycles help the battery reach normal performance. Keep an eye on the temperature: slight warmth is normal, but overheating or a swollen battery means you should stop using the device immediately.
