Description
This compatible battery replaces the current battery in your Surface Go 2 (2020). It powers the tablet and provides its everyday battery life. When it degrades, the tablet may shut off suddenly, fail to hold a charge or display an inconsistent battery level. Replacing this part restores normal use of the device.
Before you start, switch the tablet off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with a suitable tool, and avoid static electricity by discharging yourself regularly. Never puncture, bend or crush a lithium battery. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
After fitting, switch the tablet back on and check the displayed charge level. Carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the electronics can properly estimate the new battery. Monitor the temperature while charging: moderate warmth is normal, significant heat is not.
