Description
This compatible battery is designed to replace the current battery in your Microsoft Surface Go (2018) when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or no longer charges properly. It powers the tablet and determines its everyday battery life. This is a part made by a third party, designed to be compatible with this model.
Before fitting, switch the tablet off completely, unplug the charger and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with a small screwdriver suited to the task. Lithium batteries require caution: do not puncture them, do not bend them and do not expose them to excessive heat. A swollen or deformed battery must under no circumstances be used. Also protect yourself from static electricity before handling the components.
Once the new battery is installed and the device closed, switch the tablet back on and check that it charges correctly. For a new battery, it is advisable to carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to optimise its performance. If you notice any abnormal behaviour, unplug the device and stop using it.
