Before you start, switch off the tablet completely, unplug the charger and work on a clean, flat surface. Use suitable tools and a little patience so you do not damage the neighbouring components. Never puncture, bend or crush the lithium battery. If it is swollen, do not use it and do not try to charge it.
After fitting, plug in the charger and let the device charge fully, then carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles to allow the battery to balance. Monitor the temperature and battery life during the first few days.
