Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your Surface Pro 3 (2014). It powers the tablet whenever it is not plugged into the mains, so it determines your everyday battery life. When the battery ages, the device switches off suddenly, no longer holds its charge or charges poorly. Replacing the faulty part restores comfortable mobile use.
Before fitting, switch the tablet off completely, unplug the charger and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Work on a flat surface at room temperature and use suitable tools so the chassis is not damaged. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent. If it is swollen, do not use it and handle it with care.
After replacement, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the energy management can adapt. Then check the displayed level, the charging behaviour and the stability of the device during normal use. For work on the ribbon cables, disconnect the battery and protect yourself against static electricity.
