Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a 2015 Surface Pro 4. It powers the tablet and lets you use it without a cable. As the battery ages, battery life drops, the device shuts off suddenly or will not start without being plugged in. Replacing the current part fixes these faults.
Before you begin, switch the tablet off completely, unplug the charger and place the device on a flat, clean surface. Work in a dry place at a moderate temperature, and protect your components against static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface. A lithium battery must never be punctured, bent or heated. If it is swollen, stop using it.
After fitting, connect the charger and let the battery go through a few complete charge and discharge cycles. This allows the system to measure the energy level correctly. Then check the battery life and the charge.
