Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of the Surface Pro 9 (2022). It powers the tablet when it is not plugged into the mains and therefore determines its battery life. When it wears out, the tablet shuts down suddenly, no longer holds its charge or shows a percentage that drops quickly.
Before you start, switch the tablet off completely, unplug the charger and work on a clean, dry surface. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal part before handling the components. For a lithium battery, do not puncture it, do not bend it and never force the connectors. A swollen battery must no longer be used.
After fitting, plug in the charger and let the tablet go through a few complete charge and discharge cycles so that the battery indicator recalibrates. Then check the charge, battery life and the temperature of the device, which should remain moderate.

- Switch off the tablet and unplug the charger before any work
- Disconnect the battery before handling the neighbouring ribbon cables
- Never puncture or bend a lithium battery
- Swollen battery: stop using it and do not charge it
- Allow a few complete charging cycles to recalibrate the battery life
