Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of your Microsoft Surface Pro X (2020). It powers the tablet when it is not plugged into the mains, and determines how long it runs between two charges. When a battery ages, its runtime drops sharply, the tablet may switch off without warning or no longer charge properly. Replacing the current part is then the most direct solution.
Before you start, switch the tablet off completely, unplug the charger and work on a clean, flat surface. Prepare small tools that fit the device's screws and note the location of each component. Handle the battery with care: do not puncture it, do not bend it and avoid any excessive heat. A swollen or damaged battery must no longer be used. Also remember to discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, connect the tablet and carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery stabilise. Then check that the charge indicator displays correctly and that the runtime remains consistent during normal use.
