Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your Tab (2011) tablet. It powers the device when it is not plugged in and lets you use it on the move. If your tablet shuts off suddenly, no longer holds its charge or overheats while charging, the battery is usually the cause.
This is a Compatible-type part, made by a third party. It is not identical to the part currently fitted in your device, but it is designed to fit. Before you start, switch off the tablet, unplug the charger and place the device on a flat, clean surface. Work with suitable tools and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface.
After fitting, connect the tablet and let it complete several full charge and discharge cycles so the new battery balances. Check that the device starts properly and that it charges without overheating. If the battery swells, deforms or gives off a smell, stop using it immediately.
Tips
- Switch off the tablet and unplug the charger before any work
- Do not puncture, bend or crush the lithium battery
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
- Disconnect the battery before handling the internal ribbon cables
- Let the tablet complete several full cycles after fitting
