Description
This compatible battery is designed for the U3 model. It replaces the worn battery of your device, whose role is to power all of its components. A tired battery usually shows up as battery life that drops quickly, a charge that takes unusually long, sudden shutdowns while the display still shows charge, or a device that gets hot during use.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect it from any power source. Work on a clean, dry surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the neighbouring ribbon cables.
After fitting, power on the device and run a few complete charge and discharge cycles so that the battery and the device adapt to each other. Check that charging takes place normally and that heat stays moderate. Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery. If the battery appears swollen, stop using it.
