Description
This compatible battery is designed to replace the worn-out battery of a V21. It powers the device and gives you back enough battery life for everyday use when the current battery no longer holds its charge. It fits in place of the existing part and is intended for people who want to repair their device themselves. It is a third-party part, compatible with the V21.
Before you start, switch the V21 off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, dry surface with suitable tools, and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Remove the old battery gently, without puncturing it, bending it or forcing the connectors. If the worn battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check that everything works properly. Carry out a few complete charge cycles so the battery stabilises, and watch the heat during charging, which should remain moderate. If anything seems abnormal, switch the device off and check the installation.

- Switch off the device and unplug the charger before any work.
- Disconnect the battery before handling ribbon cables or connectors.
- Do not puncture or bend the battery, it is lithium-based.
- A swollen battery must no longer be used.
- Carry out a few complete charge cycles after fitting.
