Description
This compatible battery is designed for the V40. It replaces the worn battery in your device and restores a sufficient runtime for everyday use. A battery that drains too quickly, switches off without warning or overheats abnormally is often the cause of these faults. Replacing the battery generally resolves these symptoms when the current part has reached the end of its life.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver as well as a suction cup to lift the screen. Work on a flat, clean, well-lit surface and keep the screws in a small tray so they don't get lost. It is important to disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, to avoid any short circuit. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and do not apply any pressure to its surface.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check that charging works correctly. For a new battery, a few full charge and discharge cycles allow the battery level reading to stabilise. If the new battery swells, becomes very hot or smells unpleasant, stop using it immediately and set it aside in a safe place.
