Description
This battery is a compatible spare part designed for the LG V50 ThinQ 5G. It replaces the current battery of your smartphone when it no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats abnormally. It is a third-party manufacture, designed to fit the compatible model without modifying the phone.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and unplug the charger. Prepare a small suitable screwdriver and a plastic opening tool to open the casing without scratching the shell. Work on a clean surface, away from static electricity, and note the position of the screws so you do not mix them up.
Once the battery has been replaced, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to allow the whole unit to stabilise. Then check the operation of the touchscreen, charging and battery life. If the battery swells, deforms or heats up strongly, stop using it immediately.
Tips
- Switch off the device and unplug the charger before any work
- Never puncture the lithium battery and do not bend it
- Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
- Carry out a few charge cycles after fitting
