Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Wiko View 5. It powers the smartphone and replaces the worn battery when the device no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats abnormally during use. Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a plastic opening tool to open the casing without forcing it. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid any contact with the electronic components. A static discharge can be enough to damage the board, which is why you should work away from humidity and handle the parts with care.
Once the battery is installed and the phone is closed again, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the device properly recognises the new battery. Monitor the temperature during the first charges: it should remain moderate. Never puncture the battery, do not bend it and do not use it if it appears swollen; in that case, set it aside and handle it with caution.
