Disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Avoid excessive heat and protect sensitive components from static electricity by touching a metal surface before you begin.
After fitting, carry out several full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery stabilise. Check that the device starts, that it charges correctly and that the battery does not heat up abnormally. Never puncture, bend or crush a lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using it.
