Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of a wireless Xbox One controller. It supplies the power the controller needs to work without a cable. Over time, a battery loses capacity: the controller switches off sooner, takes longer to charge or no longer holds its charge. Replacing the battery often restores a good battery life without changing the whole controller.
Before fitting, switch off the controller and unplug the charging cable. Work on a clean, clear surface with a small suitable screwdriver. Note the position and connection direction of the current part to make it easier to fit the new one. Avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
Important precautions: do not pierce, bend or crush the lithium battery. If it is swollen, deformed or hot, do not use it and set it aside in a safe place. After fitting, carry out several full charge and discharge cycles before judging the real battery life.
