Description
This compatible battery is designed to replace the battery in a wireless controller or a portable power pack used with an Xbox One S. It restores sufficient runtime when the current battery no longer holds its charge or drains too quickly. For a private individual repairing their own device, it is a simple way to bring an accessory back into working order without replacing the entire setup.
Before fitting, switch off the console completely and unplug it from the mains. Work on a clean, dry surface with suitable tools, and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Check that the existing part shows no signs of swelling or leakage. A lithium battery must never be punctured, bent or exposed to excessive heat.
After replacement, carry out several full charge and discharge cycles so the new battery reaches its optimal level. If the battery overheats abnormally during charging or swells, stop using it immediately and do not keep it near other objects.
