Description
This compatible battery is designed for the wireless controller of the Xbox One X and is used to replace the current part when it no longer holds its charge. It powers the controller and lets you play wirelessly for several hours between charges. A worn battery is often recognised by shorter battery life, a controller that switches itself off, or a charge that no longer works properly.
Before fitting, switch the controller off completely and disconnect it from any charging cable. Prepare a small screwdriver of the right size and work on a clean, flat surface. Handle the battery with care: it is lithium, so do not puncture it, do not bend it and avoid impacts. If it is swollen or deformed, do not use it. Stay alert to static electricity and keep the battery only moderately warm while handling it.
Once the replacement is done, reconnect the controller and let it charge fully. Then carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles to allow the battery to settle, and check the battery life and the stability of the wireless connection.
