Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Sony Xperia 1. It replaces the built-in battery of your phone when it no longer holds a charge or switches off suddenly. It powers the device and connects to the motherboard via a connection ribbon.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and work on a clean, flat surface. Use a plastic opening tool and avoid any metal object that could short-circuit the components. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbons, and never force a connector.
Once fitting is complete, run a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery balance. Then check the battery life and the stability of the device. If the battery swells, deforms or overheats abnormally, stop using it, do not puncture it and do not bend it.
