Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of your Sony Xperia 10 Plus. It powers the phone and lets you use it without a cable once charged. As the battery ages, battery life drops, the device shuts off suddenly or charges poorly. Replacing the battery fixes these faults and gives the phone a proper everyday battery life again.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver, suction cups and a clean tray so you don't lose the screws. Work on a flat surface, protected from static electricity. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend it. Moderate heat is enough when lifting the adhesive.
Once the battery is fitted and the phone closed, plug in the charger and let a few full charge cycles run so the device measures the level correctly. Check charging, temperature and the condition of the screen. If the replacement battery swells, overheats abnormally or doesn't hold its charge, stop using it immediately.
