Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Sony Xperia E4. It powers the phone and replaces the worn battery when battery life drops sharply or the device switches off for no apparent reason. It is a third-party part, offered as an economical solution to repair your device yourself.
Before fitting, switch off the smartphone completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Remove the worn battery carefully, without puncturing or bending it. If it is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
Once the new battery is installed, switch the device back on and check that everything works. For optimal lifespan, carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles before intensive use. Monitor the temperature while charging: it should remain moderate.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and unplug the charger before any intervention.
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
- Swollen battery: stop using it.
- Avoid static electricity and work on a clean surface.
- Carry out a few complete charge cycles after fitting.
