Description

Replacing the worn battery generally restores comfortable everyday use.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use a plastic opening tool and a small suitable screwdriver to avoid scratching the chassis. Discharge the battery as much as possible and disconnect it before handling any ribbon cables. Avoid static electricity by discharging yourself on a metal surface.
After fitting, connect the phone to a charger and let it charge fully. For a new battery, a few complete charge cycles are recommended so that the charge indicator becomes reliable again. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using it and do not attempt to charge it.
