Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your Sony Xperia M2. It powers the phone when the current battery no longer holds its charge, shuts off suddenly or overheats abnormally. It is a third-party part designed to be compatible with this model.
Before replacing it, switch the device off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, with suitable tools. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never force the connectors. A lithium battery must not be punctured or bent. If the worn battery is swollen, stop using it and do not attempt to fit it.
After fitting, carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles to let the battery settle. Then check that charging, temperature and battery life are normal. If unusual behaviour persists, stop using the phone and check the installation.
