Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Y15s smartphone. It replaces the current part when it no longer holds charge, drains too quickly or switches off unexpectedly. It powers the device and directly determines its battery life in everyday use.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Prepare a suitable small screwdriver and a clean, dry workspace. Handle the ribbon cables with care and disconnect the battery before touching the connectors, to reduce the risk of electrostatic discharge that could damage the board.
Once the part is installed, switch the device back on and carry out a few full charge cycles so the battery can balance. Monitor the temperature while charging: it should stay moderate. If the battery swells, heats up abnormally or smells, stop using it immediately. Never puncture it, do not bend it and do not expose it to heat.
