Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Y19s 4G smartphone. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or drains too quickly. A worn battery can also cause unexpected restarts or a phone that overheats while charging.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with a suitable tool, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables to prevent any short circuit. Never apply excessive pressure, and do not puncture or bend the battery.
After fitting, carry out two or three full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery stabilise. Keep an eye on the temperature: slight warmth is normal, but any unusual heat should make you stop. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and set it aside in a safe place.
