Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Y21s smartphone. It replaces the current part when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or switches off without warning. Before you start, switch the device off completely and prepare a small screwdriver of the right size and a clean tray to keep the screws in. Work on a flat surface, at room temperature and away from any heat source. A lithium battery must never be punctured, bent or short-circuited, and a swollen battery must no longer be used. Discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and check that the battery is correctly recognised in the device information. Carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the new battery can adapt. Monitor the temperature during the first charges and check battery life over several days.
