Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your Y22s. It powers the device when it is no longer plugged in, and replacing it restores a correct battery life after several months or years of use. A battery that drains too quickly, makes the device shut off without warning or no longer holds its charge is usually at the end of its life and should be replaced.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and unplug it from its charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools, and note where the screws go so you do not mix them up. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid any contact with metal parts to limit the risks linked to static electricity. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and never force the connectors.
After fitting, connect the device to its charger and carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that the battery balances. Monitor the temperature: it should stay moderate while charging. If the battery appears swollen or deformed, stop using it and set it aside in a safe place.
