Description
This compatible battery is intended for the Y29s smartphone. It replaces the device's current battery when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or shuts down unexpectedly. It is a third-party part, designed to fit the Y29s model.
Before replacing it, switch the device off completely and disconnect it from any power source. Prepare a suitable small screwdriver, a suction cup or a plastic tool to open the casing without forcing it, and work on a clean, well-lit surface. Discharge the current battery as far as possible and disconnect its connector before handling anything. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check that the battery is properly recognised. Carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery stabilise, then check the battery life. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent. If it swells, overheats abnormally or gives off a smell, stop using it immediately.
