Description
This compatible battery is designed to replace the battery in your Y30 when it no longer holds charge, drains too quickly or switches off unexpectedly. It fits in place of the current part without modifying the rest of the device. It is a third-party part, compatible with the Y30 model.
Before you start, switch off the smartphone completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools to avoid scratching or bending the components. To disconnect the battery, remove it by following the steps in your disassembly guide and carefully unplug its ribbon cable before handling any other parts.
Once the battery is fitted, switch the device back on and check that charging starts correctly. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that battery life stabilises. Do not puncture, bend or heat the battery. If it appears swollen, stop using it.
