Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Y30g smartphone. It replaces the device's current battery when it no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or drains too quickly. A worn battery can also make the device unstable or cause it to heat up during use: replacing it restores more comfortable battery life.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver and a flat tool to open the casing without forcing it. Work on a clean, dry surface and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid puncturing, bending or exposing it to significant heat.
After fitting, power on the device and carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the battery balances properly. Check that the screen switches on normally, that charging starts correctly and that the device does not heat up abnormally. If the battery swells at any point, stop using it immediately.
