Description
This compatible battery is designed to replace the worn battery in your Y32 device. It powers the device and determines how long it runs between two charges. When the current battery no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats, replacing it often restores normal operation.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect it from any charging source. Prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with a suitable screwdriver and a suction cup or flat tool to open the casing without forcing it. It is important to disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and to handle the components carefully to avoid electrostatic discharge.
Once the new battery is fitted, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the electronics can properly recognise it. Then check that the device starts correctly and that charging takes place without overheating. Never puncture the lithium battery, do not bend it, and do not use a swollen battery.
