Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Y5 (2019) smartphone. It powers the device and restores sufficient battery life when the current battery no longer holds its charge, shuts off suddenly or overheats abnormally during use. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit the Y5 (2019) model.
Before you start, switch off the phone completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, dry surface, with anti-static tools if possible, to limit the risks linked to static electricity. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and avoid any source of excessive heat. Never puncture, bend or short-circuit the battery. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
After fitting, check that the phone starts up correctly and that the battery is securely fixed. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge cycles so the level indicator can calibrate properly. Monitor the temperature during the first charges and check battery life over the following days.
