Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Y53s smartphone. It replaces the device's current battery when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or switches off suddenly. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit the Y53s model.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, dry surface and use non-metallic tools to lift the connectors. Discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables to avoid any short circuit.
After replacement, switch the device back on and carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the battery can adjust. Check that battery life and charging behave normally. Never puncture, bend or crush a lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using the device.
