Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Y76s smartphone. It replaces the current part when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or no longer lets you use the device properly. A worn battery can cause unexpected shutdowns, abnormal heating or very reduced battery life, and replacing it generally gives the device comfortable everyday use again.
Before fitting, switch off the smartphone completely and unplug the charging cable. Work on a clean, dry surface, open the casing with a plastic tool, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal object first. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never drill, bend or short-circuit a lithium battery.
After replacement, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that the battery indicator stabilises. If the battery is swollen, deformed or hot to the touch, do not use it and set it aside in a safe place.
